Custom Closets and Dressing Rooms

A well-built closet is a boutique with a door. We design and build dressing rooms and walk-in closets where the storage is organised around real garments, with integrated lighting that shows the room properly.

Designed, fabricated and installed from our studio at 430 Douglas Rd E, Unit H/I, Oldsmar, FL 34677, serving homeowners across Tampa Bay.

Storage planned around your actual wardrobe

Dressing rooms begin with how you dress: hanging length, folded versus hung, shoe volume, bag storage, jewellery, and the amount of seasonal storage a client genuinely needs. We lay those out in a room you can walk through, rather than filling a rectangle with equal-width shelves. Island vitrines, glass-front displays and concealed safes are detailed where the room and the client actually call for them.

Lighting that reveals the joinery

Warm integrated LED profiles are recessed into shelves, rails and the underside of hanging space, so the room reads as a lit interior rather than a dark box. Lighting is planned with the millwork, not added afterwards, and hardware is selected so drawers, rails and lift-up mechanisms operate quietly.

Joinery we cut ourselves

Where a client's design calls for it, solid walnut shelves are through-tenoned and dovetailed into a solid white oak case, with every joint hand-cut and hand-fit in our Oldsmar shop. No dowels and no cam-lock hardware. Structural hardwood construction is rated for full book, art and object loads without shelf deflection.

Closets and dressing rooms for Tampa Bay homes

We build closets for residences throughout Tampa Bay, Oldsmar and the surrounding barrier-island and west-coast communities, as part of a single project or as a standalone commission. Coastal humidity is specified for from the core outward, and we will walk the room with you before anything is drawn.

Questions about custom closets & dressing rooms

Do you build walk-in closets as well as dressing rooms?

Both. We build walk-in closets, wardrobe suites and dressing rooms, planned around how you actually dress — hanging length, folded versus hung storage, shoes, bags, jewellery and seasonal volume — with island vitrines, glass-front displays and integrated lighting detailed where the room calls for them.

How long does a custom closet take?

A standalone closet typically moves faster than a full kitchen: design about 2 to 4 weeks, fabrication about 4 to 8 weeks after approval, and installation usually 1 to 3 days. Larger dressing suites, or a closet bundled into a whole-home millwork package, run longer because they are sequenced with the other trades.
