Architectural Casework

Custom Cabinets and Built-Ins

Built-ins are the cabinetry that makes a house read as designed rather than assembled. We build floor-to-ceiling casework that fits the wall it stands against, across dining rooms, libraries, mudrooms and whole-home packages.

Designed, fabricated and installed from our studio at 430 Douglas Rd E, Unit H/I, Oldsmar, FL 34677, serving homeowners across Tampa Bay.

Custom floor to ceiling cabinetry with bespoke shadow reveals, integrated brass pulls

Full ceiling scribe, no filler strips

Our casework is scribed to the ceiling with a deliberate expansion gap incorporated into the design, so the cabinet meets the wall and the ceiling line instead of stopping short behind a trim strip. The result is uninterrupted material continuity across a room and, in a whole-home package, across the entire residence.

Casework for the rooms people forget

Beyond kitchens and closets we build the storage that makes daily life work: mudroom lockers and drop zones, dining room sideboards and buffets, pantry larders, butler pantries, entry benches with concealed shoe storage, and library cabinetry. Each is drawn from the room's actual use and the client's real belongings, not from a catalogue of standard bays.

Internal accessories milled from matching hardwood

Pull-outs, tray dividers, wine racks, knife inserts and valet rods are milled from solid hardwood chosen to match the case, rather than dropping in a wire or plastic insert that reads as an accessory. Shelves are engineered in solid hardwood so they do not deflect under a full load of books. Where a façade needs to disappear, invisible push-latch hardware gives you an unbroken plane.

Built to sit inside Florida architecture

We specify marine-grade plywood cores with WBP phenolic adhesive lines, moisture-resistant SALT and Ultrapan surfaces, and PUR reactive edge sealing chosen for the home's humidity and salt-air exposure. Baseboards and shadow lines are integrated so the cabinetry can marry flush with the surrounding drywall.

Questions about custom built-ins

What is the difference between built-in cabinetry and modular cabinetry?

Modular cabinetry is manufactured in standard sizes and adjusted to your room with filler strips, end panels and trim. Built-in cabinetry is made to your room's actual dimensions, so it meets the wall, ceiling and floor directly. That is why our casework is scribed to the ceiling with a designed expansion gap instead of being hidden behind a trim strip.

Can you match cabinetry to an existing room?

Yes. Where a project extends an existing room, or where a whole-home package runs across several spaces, we match timber species, finish and hardware to what is already there, so the new work reads as one decision rather than a later addition.
