What We Create
From single statement kitchen installations through comprehensive whole-home millwork packages, every piece is built to order in our Oldsmar atelier.

Custom Kitchens
Our bespoke kitchens are designed as functional architectural installations. We study your cooking ergonomics, appliance specifications, and spatial flow to craft cabinetry that aligns flush with ceiling lines and adjacent walls — every run scribed to the room rather than to a stock module.

Key Architectural Capabilities
The Woodcraft & Kinetic Engineering Standard
Modern Art Kitchen controls the entire architectural fabrication in Florida — from survey and shop drawings through machining, finishing and installation — using European hardware and moisture-resistant substrates selected for the site.
Minimum 3/4" Strong Boxes
Strict minimum 3/4" (19mm) structural hardwood multi-ply with solid backs that hold the carcass square and fix it securely to the wall.
Moisture-Resistant Substrates
Phenolic-bonded marine-grade plywood, hydro-core MR substrates, Italian SALT International synchro-pore panels with moisture-resistant cores, and PUR reactive zero-glue-line edge-banding — engineered as a highly moisture-resistant build system for Gulf humidity, not marketed as fully waterproof.
SALT, Egger & Ultrapan
Italian SALT synchro-pore textured panels, Egger PerfectSense anti-fingerprint surfaces, and Ultrapan mirror/matte acrylics paired with rift hardwoods.
Blum, Salice, Hettich & Häfele
European hardware: Blum Movento synchronized slides, Salice Air concealed micro-hinges, Hettich AvanTech YOU, and Häfele LED optics.
Questions we are asked before the first consultation
If something you need is not here, call 656-900-2180 or email contact@modernartkitchen.com.
Our workshop is at 430 Douglas Rd E, Unit H/I, Oldsmar, FL 34677. Tampa Bay is our primary service area, and we design, fabricate and install across the whole of Florida. For qualifying commissions beyond Florida, white-glove delivery is available and confirmed during the project proposal.
Two dates matter and we keep them separate. The founders' craftsmanship began in 2012 in Connecticut and New York City, and that heritage is why the work looks the way it does. ModernArt Kitchen LLC itself was formed in Florida on 28 August 2023 and opened its Oldsmar atelier that year, so the Florida company is a 2023 business built on more than a decade of prior experience.
Yes. Custom kitchens are the core of the studio, along with architectural millwork, built-in closets and dressing suites, floating bathroom vanities, media walls and credenzas, wall paneling and fireplace surrounds, and bespoke woodcraft. We take on both residential and commercial commissions.
The work is founder-led from start to finish. The studio founders personally survey the site, engineer the design and shop drawings, oversee fabrication and finishing, and oversee installation. We coordinate specialised trades and project partners as the scope requires, with responsibilities set out clearly in the written proposal.
Carcasses are built to a strict minimum 3/4 inch (19mm) structural hardwood multi-ply with solid backs. For coastal and humid sites we specify marine-grade plywood cores with WBP phenolic adhesive lines, moisture-resistant SALT and Ultrapan surfaces, and PUR reactive edge sealing chosen for the home's humidity and salt-air exposure. Finishes are multi-coat post-catalyzed conversion varnish, hand-sanded between coats. Materials, hardware and finishes are project-specified and confirmed in the written proposal.
We work with premium European hardware from manufacturers such as Blum, Salice, Hettich, and Häfele, selected according to the size, weight, function, and application of each cabinet. Any coverage on a specific mechanism belongs to that manufacturer. Modern Art Kitchen does not publish a lifetime warranty of its own.
Design usually runs about 2 to 6 weeks, fabrication about 6 to 12 weeks after design approval, and installation 1 to 5 days for smaller millwork or 1 to 3+ weeks for extensive kitchen cabinetry. Overall, 10 to 20+ weeks is common once trades, countertops, appliances and permitting are involved.
Yes. We keep studio hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, by private appointment, so you can walk the shop, review material selections and talk through drawings without a showroom floor rushing you.
We do not publish prices or price ranges, because every Modern Art Kitchen project is custom-designed, site-measured and quoted to its own scope. The investment reflects the cabinetry layout, materials, finish, hardware, integrated features, delivery and installation. Ask for a proposal and we will price your actual scope.
Modern Art Kitchen is the customer-facing brand of ModernArt Kitchen LLC, a Florida-registered company. ModernArt Kitchen LLC maintains General Liability insurance and is registered in the applicable Florida jurisdictions in which it operates.
