Architectural Millwork and Media Walls

Media walls and architectural millwork are where cabinetry stops being storage and becomes the room. We design and build credenzas, wall paneling, bookshelves and complex curved joinery in our Oldsmar workshop.

Designed, fabricated and installed from our studio at 430 Douglas Rd E, Unit H/I, Oldsmar, FL 34677, serving homeowners across Tampa Bay.

Media walls designed around the equipment

A media wall is an acoustic and electrical problem before it is a visual one. We plan ventilation chases behind equipment, conceal cabling and home-automation processors, and coordinate clearances so warm gear does not trap heat inside a closed cabinet. Push-to-open hardware keeps the façade flush and uninterrupted.

Credenzas, shelving and wall paneling

Beyond media walls we build architectural bookshelves and display cases pairing solid walnut shelves with dovetail joinery into solid white oak boxes, reeded and fluted acoustic paneling that disperses sound as well as it reads, and credenzas for dining and living spaces. Shelves are engineered in solid hardwood to carry real book and object loads without deflection.

Fireplace surrounds and mantels

A fireplace feature anchors the living volume. We design hybrid architectural surrounds combining non-combustible plaster textures, sintered stone or quartzite hearths, and substantial solid timber floating mantels on concealed structural mounts, with the manufacturer's non-combustible clearance zones respected throughout.

Complex geometry, built in-house

When drawings call for curved radius cabinetry, cylindrical fluted columns, coffered ceiling beams or integrated dining banquettes, we build every curved template and assembly in our own shop using CNC jigs and bent cores. Hollow faux structural beams are engineered to conceal lighting and HVAC runs. Finishes are matched to existing flooring and window trim where the architecture demands it.

Questions about architectural millwork

Can you hide wiring and equipment inside a media wall?

Yes. Media walls are planned as acoustic and electrical problems first: ventilation chases behind equipment so warm gear does not trap heat inside a closed cabinet, concealed cabling, and space for home-automation processors and amplifiers. Push-to-open hardware keeps the façade flush and uninterrupted.

Do you build custom architectural bookshelves?

Yes. We build architectural bookshelves and display cases pairing solid walnut shelves with dovetail joinery into solid white oak cases, engineered in solid hardwood so they carry real book and object loads without shelf deflection. Integrated LED wash lighting reveals the joinery.
