Share floor plans, inspirational imagery, and target appliance suite
Modern Art Kitchen founders personally verify shop drawings, monitor finish application in Oldsmar, and direct jobsite scribing.
Our 7-stage process
Stage 1: Initial Consultation. Spatial Brief & Vision Alignment
We review your architectural plans, lifestyle requirements, aesthetic inspirations, and preliminary budget. We discuss realistic timelines, material possibilities, and establish whether our studio is the right partner for your project.
Expected duration: 1-2 Days.
Stage 2: Project Discovery. Laser Spatial Scan & Ergonomic Study
Our founders visit the jobsite to conduct high-precision 3D laser spatial scans. We measure ceiling datums, wall out-of-plumb deviations, floor inclinations, electrical rough-ins, and duct clearances to ensure zero field surprises.
Expected duration: 3-5 Days.
Stage 3: Design & Shop Drawings. 3D Design Mockups & Detailed Shop Drawings
We translate your spatial requirements into realistic 3D design mockups and detailed shop drawings — elevations, sectional cuts, and internal fitment plans. Every drawer depth, reveal width, and shadow line is documented for your sign-off before fabrication begins.
Expected duration: 2 Weeks.
Stage 4: Finishes. Physical Material & Swatch Curation
You join us in our Oldsmar atelier to touch and evaluate real material trays: live flitches of rift oak, smoked walnut, custom-formulated paint chips, honed stone slabs, and solid brass pull handles under 2700K lighting.
Expected duration: 1 Week.
Stage 5: Fabrication. Precision Joinery in Our Oldsmar Atelier
Our cabinetmakers machine Baltic birch carcasses, hand-assemble dovetailed solid maple drawer boxes, press sequence-matched veneers, and apply multi-coat conversion varnishes in our state-of-the-art Oldsmar workshop.
Expected duration: 6-8 Weeks.
Stage 6: Installation. In-House White-Glove Installation
We never subcontract installation to third parties. Our own cabinetmakers bring your bespoke casework to the site, utilizing heavy-duty dust extractors and laser levels to scribe every panel flush to your home walls.
Expected duration: 1-2 Weeks.
Sign-Off: Walkthrough. Micro-Tuning & Lifetime Craft Warranty
Together with our founders, we conduct a meticulous 42-point walkthrough. We tune every Blum hinge cam, micro-adjust drawer gaps to 1/32" perfection, test every soft-close stroke, and deliver your care kit with warranty certificate.
Expected duration: 1 Day.
Sub-Millimeter Laser Survey
No building wall is perfectly square. We 3D laser-scan every corner to account for drywall crowns and floor slopes prior to cutting.
Complete Atelier Dry-Fit
Prior to packing, your entire cabinetry run is fully erected on our Oldsmar shop floor to verify seam alignment, uniform color for painted work, continuous grain matching for veneered work, and drawer glide.
Active HEPA Dust Control
During home installation, our team uses Festool HEPA extractors, floor runners, and containment barriers to leave your residence spotless.
